Invisible Shoes

Okay so Friday Avery came home from school as usual fully dressed and all so what in the world happened to her tennis shoes between Friday afternoon and Monday morning is still a mystery to me. The sad thing is that I probably hid them, hid them from myself that is. Where are they? I have searched and searched and searched. I was kinda getting aggravated at Avery asking her WHERE ARE YOUR SHOES AVERY?.....and then somewhere in the back of my crazy little brain I can somehow remember me having my hands on them....maybe? Who knows....needless to say....Monday was not a good day cause she has PE and we had NO tennis shoes....She had to wear sandals and she was not happy.....She was already upset because I was not taking her to school, her Daddy offered and I took him up on it. Then she was laying on the couch while I was getting her breakfast together and she was just a crying and I said Avery what's wrong....and she said I don't have any crayons....and I said baby what do you mean you don't have any crayons....She said I lost them.....I'm sitting her thinking how do you lose crayons in a classroom that you don't leave.....so I asked Craig if he would walk her in and see what was up.....She had just misplaced them. Her teacher sent me an email later on in the day and said they had found them.....crisis solved......She also told me that Avery had perked up and was having a great day....thank goodness...I don' t like sending her to school upset you know when every little thing makes them cry....

So when I find the shoes....which are STILL missing, I will let you know.....the only good thing is that she had just about outgrown them....I found her a pair at Shoe Show for the time being to make due, we have a another pair that we bought for school and now they slip when she wears them so we will have to wait a little while for them to fit. Oh and the first day she wore them...a little girl at school told Avery that they were boy shoes...Ughhhh....They don't look like boy shoes to me.....
